Update: Commigate

Thursday, October 28th, 2004

I haven’t seen or heard anything else at all about Commigate. This is just crazy. It could be because of the missing explosives and the rush to blame it on Bush. Anyone else seen this anywhere other than blogs?

Missing Explosives?

Thursday, October 28th, 2004

I’ve held off this story for a couple of days on purpose. With the claims that it makes, this could be a big deal in the next few months.

CBS and the NYT were holding onto a story that 380 tons of high explosives went missing from the Al Qaqaa region of Iraq in the weeks […]

Commigate the October surprise?

Tuesday, October 26th, 2004

There are reports with supporting documents that appear to be authentic stating John Kerry’s VVAW movement was highly influanced by the Communists.

It could be one of those too good to be true situations, but what if it isn’t? I’m not going to say if they are completely accurate until I can see some proof.

I need folks willing to team up with me for a “Coalition of the Willing Bloggers” on November 2nd. We’ll each take a different network/cable network and watch the coverage of the election live blog style. After the election, I’ll compile all of the live blogs into one big post (which could take a couple […]

Reflections of the Protests in New York City

Monday, October 25th, 2004

I know the convention was a long time ago, but this is definate worth the read.

After glimpsing at news coverage from C-SPAN, CNN and Fox News for about an hour, I really do wonder, what this protest is about.

I see rainbow flags touting “Let us Marry,” “Stop the Draft” banners being flown by A.N.S.W.E.R. […]

Photos like these make me proud to be a Marine.

Lieutenant Col. Ted A. Ruane, commanding officer, Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 11, 11th MEU (Special Operations Capable), receives a thank you kiss from a 5-year-old Iraqi Al-Nada kindergarten school student after he was given a backpack in Ad Diwaniyah, Iraq, Oct. 23.

Hypocrisy of the MSM

Monday, October 25th, 2004

Last week, a big hype went out about an article the Washington Times was going to publish for the Monday edition. Well, here it is Monday morning at 0130 and the article is up on the paper’s site.

U.N. ambassadors from several nations are disputing assertions by Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry that he met […]

As horrible as this is. . .

Monday, October 25th, 2004

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw this on Drudge Report.

UK GUARDIAN: ‘John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?’…

Now, the reason I laugh is quite simple. I am never amazed at how close the foreign media follows our elections and tends to hate […]

Stolen Honor (JimK from

Sunday, October 24th, 2004

This was written by JimK over at This is a great article and I thank JimK for writing.

I just finished watching “Stolen Honor.”

I don’t even know what to say, so this post may seem to ramble.  I am emotionally torn up at this moment.  I feel hatred, fear, sorrow, but I also feel a […]

Sticky: Election Polls Tracking

Thursday, October 21st, 2004

This was written up by Kevin over at WizBang. I’ll leave it up as a sticky until the end of the election. Thanks to Kevin for putting in the footwork and making this happen.

UPDATE: Election is over, Bush wins, sticky bye bye.

Thursday, October 21st, 2004

The Red Sox have made history by being the only team to ever be down 0-3 and come back to take 7 game series. David Ortiz was the star that made Game 7 possible and then handed it off to Johny Damon who had a grand slam in the second and a two run […]

Kobe’s Accuser Revieled

Wednesday, October 20th, 2004

I’m not sure how I missed this this, but the young woman’s name has been released in several different places as early as 15 October. I stumbled across another article on about this case and others like it in which the accuser’s name is protected under various rape shield laws designed to protect the […]

New Category

Wednesday, October 20th, 2004

I’ve added the Law category the links over on the right. A lot of law is political based, some isn’t. For that reason, I think a seperate category for law related things is a good idea. When something posted crosses over into both categories, I’ll post in it both. Enjoy!

Oh my!

Wednesday, October 20th, 2004

The Red Sox vs. Yankees game is real interesting tonight! What is with A Rod trying to swat the ball out Arroyo’s glove? That is just beyond shady. “Oh, I did it trying to run.” Yeah, right. He really thought he would get away with it? The look on his face when they called him […]

Sox rally, Houston wins pitcher’s duel

Tuesday, October 19th, 2004

New York vs. Boston God, that game was too sweet.

Pitcher’s duel with one hit gives the Astros the lead in the NCLS. Man, that was a monster of a homerun.

Tomorrow is going to be rough: Boston wins!

Monday, October 18th, 2004

It is almost 0120 and I am STILL up. *sigh* I am not even a Redsocks fan! But I guess I hate the Yankees so much I just want to see them loose. Its the bottom of the 12th and its tied at 4. I’ll update with the final score and the time I end […]

Kubrick 1.2.6

Sunday, October 17th, 2004

Michael has released Kubrick 1.2.6. It fixes some bugs and stuff but I am very reluctant to upgrade. I’ve made a lot of changes to my template and I would kill myself if those went missing. If anyone has ideas on how I can upgrade without loosing my changes, please let me know.
