Round the Reader: Flag Day Edition

Round the Reader: Flag Day Edition is brought to you today with a great feeling of patriotism. Following the usual RtR links, I’ll post the various Flag Day posts I have found. If you have one or know of more, please let me know and I’ll update! Now for the links.

Captain Ed: A good piece on the apology that Senate issued for not acting on lynching legislation and also a look at what stopped it. The filibuster. On a side note, I do not believe the Senate should have even issued the apology. I don’t believe this because I am racist. I do believe that lynching is wrong and murder. But, an apology from a Senate that does not have many, if any, members of the guilty session shouldn’t have issued the apology.

Omar: The recounting of how the BBC gave an Iraq the Model blogger the shaft in a piece about Iraqi bloggers. Yet another reason to hate the BBC.

LGF: North Korea plans to help Iran build nuke bunkers. This can’t be a good thing.

Murdoc: Good news from northern Iraq.

Blackfive: A Seamus email about flying Angels. God bless you, my fallen brothers and sisters.

Fark: “Michael Jackson’s website equates “not guilty” verdict with the release of Nelson Mandela and fall of Berlin Wall” -You’ve got to be kidding me.

Claire: We have a new planet. Sweetness!

Sir George: More UN Oil for Food scandal! Surprised? Not I said the spider to the fly.

Scott B: Prisoner abuse that never makes it to the MSM’s airtime.

Jeff: Help him make sure his pings and trackbacks work!
